THE FACTS: An intriguing move by Spurs coach Gregg Popovich to put the previously struggling Manu Ginobili into the Game 5 starting lineup paid off wildly for the San Antonio Spurs, as he scored 24 points and had 10 assists to lead them to a 114-104 victory over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals on Sunday at AT&T Center.

Tony Parker led San Antonio with 26 points and Danny Green was 6-for-10 from the 3-point line -- setting an NBA Finals record for most 3-pointers in a series (25) -- and he scored 24 points to put the Spurs a win away from their fifth NBA championship in 14 years. Up 3-2, the Spurs get a chance to clinch it Tuesday with Game 6 in Miami.
